3 Hour Beginning Soft Glass Bead Making Class
NO CLASSES January 15-30, February 8-19, March 15-18, May 3-7, August 30 - September 3, October 4-8, or November 1-5!!! This is a three hour class taught in our state of the art studio. Students will learn on propane/oxygen Nortel Minor torches the basic skills of lampworking to melt colorful glass rods into beads. Students will also learn proper safety practices and how the studio is set up. We will cover how to shape the molten glass into a range of bead forms and the process of making stringers and twisties to embellish their beads with a variety of decorative techniques. These skills will include dots, raking, lines, swirls, foils, encasing, twists and more.
No experience necessary.
All 3 hour beginner classes are offered every weekend from 10am - 1pm.
All materials are included in this class.
